We moved east to Whispering Pines RV Park, not far from Savannah GA.

At last, it was warm enough to unwinterize the travel trailer!!!
Now, for the first time we where connected to water.
Winterizing an RV is a procedure you need to do when temperatures drop under freezing.
You empty all water containers and fill the system with antifreeze fluid. We bought our RV winterized and since the temperatures were very low we didn't use water... until now! What a relief.
They promised us WiFi in the park, but the signal was too low. They said signal is best in the laundry... so we did our laundry for the first time, but it didn't help with the signal.
The next 4 days we toured Savannah and it's vicinity.
Savannah is amazing! From elegant squares and classical buildings to palm trees and huge oak trees covered with Spanish moss creating green canopies high above you everywhere. River street on the river front is full with interesting spots providing information about the city's history and more. Downtown Savannah has an excellent fare free visitor transportation system called dot, but, everything is within walking distance. We used dot while it was heavily raining, but we mostly walked, a lot!

The shores nearby where clear white, soft sand and amazingly beautiful! Lots of seagulls and other birds were flying by and it was a lovely view when the sky cleared up and changed the colors spectrum.
Tybee Island celebrated Mardi Gras on the next Saturday. We were there. Well, I cannot compare it to the one in New Orleans, though I enjoyed seeing happy people dancing and celebrating.

Here you may find the same oak trees canopies, palms, marshes and at some point huge drifted trees lying on the beach like statues. Salty and fresh water mixture creates an interesting landscape and flora.
